Term 1 Application Dates
Term 1, 2024, for our higher education courses starts on Monday, 4 March, so it's a great time to start thinking about your study options for 2024. To start your studies in March, you'll need to submit your application by the relevant application closing date before the term starts so that it can be assessed.
With applications open for many of our courses, you can start planning your next steps, sooner. Explore the key date information below to find out when to apply for your course of interest.
Pathway Courses

Application dates for SUN for Term 1, 2024, are due by midnight on Monday, 12 February 2024. Find out more about important SUN dates and how to apply.

Please note some courses have early closing dates for direct applications - check the 'Courses with Early Closing Dates' section below to confirm if an early closing date applies to your course.

Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) Students
If you are completing or have completed STEPS with us, and are applying for a CQU course, applications for Term 1, 2024, close at midnight, Monday, 19 February 2024.
ApplyCQUni portal (Geraldton University Centre, Country Universities Centre, Uni Hub - Spencer Gulf, and Pilbara University Centre applicants)
If you are applying to start studying with the local support of one of the above study centres, submit your application via our ApplyCQUni portal by midnight, Monday, 19 February 2024.
Principal's Recommendation Scheme (PRS) early offer program
Applications for Term 1, 2024, via the PRS are open now, and close Friday, 1 December 2023.
