TAFE Certificates and Diploma offers
With monthly intakes for most TAFE courses, offers are released all year round and usually within 5-10 days business days of your application submission.
You will be emailed an offer letter to the nominated email address in your application. This will include the option to click through to accept your offer with the date you must respond by to ensure your enrolment for the upcoming intake (referred to as the last day to admit and enrol). The email will also include a detailed offer letter you should read and save for future reference.
If you haven’t completed your BKSB (Basic Key Skills Builder) test or other requests for further information, you will need to do so by the time you accept your offer. BKSB Testing is an entry requirement for all TAFE certificates and diplomas, so you will not receive an offer until you complete this test.
After you have accepted your offer, our course advice team will email you a personalised course planner and provide instructions for you to enrol.
You can email vet-apps@cqu.edu.au if you have questions during this process or contact us on 13 27 86.
Your application will be automatically assessed for all government subsidies available at the time and you will be advised of these in your offer letter.
It is not possible to activate a lapsed offer for a TAFE certificate or diploma. You will need to resubmit your application for the next intake if you let your offer lapse (meaning you do not accept your offer by the last day to admit and enrol date indicated in your offer email).
While you are unable to defer your offer, you may accept an offer in one intake but enrol in a future intake to defer your starting date.
In most cases our applicants meet the entry requirements for their course and are successful in receiving an offer for their desired intake. If your application is unsuccessful, we will contact you to discuss alternate entry pathways to your desired course.
