Experiential Events
Experiential events allow school students to immerse themselves into a discipline area or a study experience. These events make the study experience tangible and more realistic. There are a wide number of experiential events throughout the year including competitions, camps, workshops and in-practice expos.
The Engineering Role Models program is an in-schools initiative by CQUniversity, that has been running for several years.
The program consists of an Engineering academic and current CQUni Engineering students (i.e. the role model) visiting local schools (usually Year 12 Maths B classes) and conducting a presentation about studying engineering, the career opportunities in engineering and leading an interactive activity. Each session runs from 45mins to 1 hour.
