The Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship has been developed specifically to enhance your employability under our Graduate Guarantee. From 2022, if you successfully complete any of our undergraduate degrees and you are not able to secure part-time or full-time employment in a relevant field within six months, our Graduate Guarantee will support your continued learning at no cost.
The course will introduce you to key concepts in business leadership, entrepreneurship and social and business innovation. The units within the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship are drawn from our well-regarded MBA (Leadership) to offer you up-to-date and industry-relevant knowledge to complement your discipline.
To apply to study the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship for free under the Graduate Guarantee you must:
You will need to apply between six and 12 months after graduation.
You will have up to twelve months from accepting your offer to complete all four units of this course and study fee-free. If you need to take longer, any remaining units after twelve months can be purchased.

Graduates will be able to apply the knowledge and skills they learn in this course in disruption and entrepreneurship, human resources, marketing, and social and business innovation to their current work in organisational settings, or to new initiatives requiring an innovation mindset. Students will be able to articulate into the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Leadership) or Master of Business Administration (Leadership) for further extension at higher levels of study.

The Indicative First-Year Fee is the approximate cost of enrolling in this course for one year for a Full Fee Paying (FFP) Place and should be used as a guide only. For a graduate certificate, this usually comprises of four units. Your actual fees may vary depending on the units you select to study and the number of units you complete in the 12 month period. Fees are reviewed each year and are subject to change. Fee estimates for the following year are expected to be available in September each year.
The Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship is a dedicated fee-free postgraduate qualification available under CQU's Graduate Guarantee, which means that unit fees will be waived, and you'll be eligible to apply for this course at no cost if you’re a CQU graduate and haven’t secured either a part-time or full-time job within your discipline within six months of issuing your degree.
The Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship is self-paced and offered 100% online. Provided you meet relevant eligibility/entry requirements, you will have up to 12 months to complete your free study.
