The project management major will provide specialist knowledge of project management concepts and contextualise your learning to lead lean projects, and manage contracts and procurement processes relevant to any sector. Plus, you will benefit from studying project management units that follow the Project Management Institute (PMI) global standards and practices.

Emergency management has been designed to provide foundation knowledge in emergency and disaster management, disaster risk reduction and building community resilience to hazards and disasters. You will study topics that reflect the emerging trends in this growing profession and content that adopts concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) and the approach of the prevention, preparedness, response and recovery (PRRR) model.

The forensic analysis major is ideal if you want to advance your data and analytical skills to support your managerial decision-making. You will become familiar with financial data analytics, including the tools, software and methodologies of business intelligence and learn skills in generating dashboards for performance reporting. This major includes topics in accounting systems and information assurance, as well as forensic accounting and minimising the risk of fraud in organisations.

Alternatively, choosing four general electives will allow you to tailor your skills to suit your career interests and complete a major in general management.

Through interaction with academics, colleagues and various members of the business community, you will gain different perspectives and approaches to current and emerging business issues. Contextual learning and reflective practice forms the basis for your personal and professional development to ensure your learning experience is relevant and practical.

Indicative first-year fee

The Indicative First-Year Fee for a Full Fee Paying (FFP) Place is the approximate cost of enrolling in this course for one full-time academic year (this is usually eight units studied over two terms) and should be used as a guide only.
