Support for Indigenous Students

The Indigenous Student Advising Specialists within the Student Service SPOT are here to support all future and current Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander students at CQUniversity across Australia. Current students can find further information about Indigenous support services via MYCQU Student Portal.

The Indigenous Student Advising Specialists provide advice about a number of services available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students including:

  • Free tutoring support
  • Financial guidance
  • Cultural advocacy
  • Safe learning support
  • Basic course information, and more.

Tutoring

Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander STEPS, Undergraduate of Postgraduate students at CQUniversity can access tutoring by registering on our CQU Mentoring site

If you are interested in being engaged as a Casual Learning Advisor to provide tutoring assistance to Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander students studying Higher Education, please visit the CQU Careers page and complete a Candidate Profile ensuring you upload a CV and your certified qualifications when applying via the Expression of Interest.
