The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business gives you the opportunity to increase your employability by developing knowledge and skills in both accounting and business. Your education and training will include audit methodology and planning, and equip you with tools and techniques that financial managers use to maximise shareholder wealth.
In addition, you will gain exposure to accounting theory, accounting standards and business law relevant to the financial records of Australian companies.

This unit offers students the opportunity to select from the following options subject to availability: Work integrated learning option; Global experience option; or Project option.
The work-integrated learning allows you to gain 60 hours of practical work experience. This is usually 2 weeks of placement completed in a block or can be spread over the term. Students are required to source their placement. Students will apply discipline knowledge and critical thinking skills to propose creative, ethical, and innovative solutions within the workplace.
The global experience creates an opportunity for students to engage in a 2–6-week international program. Students will apply cross-cultural knowledge and critical thinking skills to propose creative, ethical, and innovative solutions in response to global challenges.
The work-integrated learning and global experience options are subject to availability, and students are required to enrol three months prior to the start of the term to participate in these options students contact the Global Mobility Team for further information.
The project option allows students to complete a scaffolded investigation (supervised project) at an advanced level. Students will explore a real-world problem/issue relevant to their profession/area of specialisation by drawing upon publicly available secondary data and relevant literature. Apply your discipline knowledge and critical thinking skills to propose creative, ethical, and innovative solutions/recommendations to solve the identified problems) or challenges.
The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business enables you to study dual degrees. You can combine studies in accounting with a range of other business disciplines (such as marketing, human resource management and property).
The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business provides you with a degree that is accredited by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and meets the associate membership requirements of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Depending on the electives you choose, you may also be eligible to apply for registration with the Tax Practitioners Board (after meeting the Board's requirements for practical experience). Graduates are also eligible to join the Association of Taxation and Management Accountants at the member level.
As well as providing you with an accredited accounting degree, you also can complete a major from several other business disciplines. You may be eligible for membership of a number of national and international business-related professional associations, depending on the units and major selected.

The Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Business - Property Major is accredited by the Australian Property Institute (API), providing the educational requirements necessary for the certifications Property Practitioner (CPP).

This is an approximate cost of enrolling in this course, shown in Australian dollars (A$), for one academic year and is based on a full-time study load (8 units over 2 terms).
Your actual fees may vary, depending on the units that you select to study and your study load. Fees are reviewed each year and are subject to change.
We offer a range of scholarships to support international students. Our merit scholarships are awarded to high-achieving students based on academic excellence and provide course fee reductions ranging from 15% to 25%.
We also have region-specific scholarships for students from selected regions, offering a 25% reduction in course fees.
You don’t need to submit a separate application for scholarships funded by the University. We automatically assess all eligible students for the best available scholarship when you apply for your course.
In addition to your course fees, you must have sufficient funds to cover other study and living expenses. These may include visa application fees, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), textbooks and learning materials, checks and certifications, living expenses and more.
