What are scholarships?
Scholarships enable better access so you can reach your full potential and build on your education aspiration. As well as this, scholarships are awarded to recognise strong academic performance.
Supporting you financially with a scholarship
With a little help financially, your university experience will be a little easier and more affordable.
Every year we provide approximately A$20 million worth of scholarships to support international students. We want as many deserving individuals as possible to benefit from a CQUniversity education.
The CQU scholarship advantage
Many Australian universities provide scholarships to support international students, so there is always something out there for everyone.
If you're looking for greater value in scholarship support to take some pressure off your tuition fee from a university with one of the best overall student experience and graduate employment outcomes in the country, then we may just be the perfect choice for you.
In fact, in the 2023 International Student Barometer, our students have told us they felt their course is good value for money, placing us well above the Australian university average in this aspect of their student experience.
Take a look at our fee and scholarship advantage and the potential savings you'll get when you study at CQU.

When I got the call about the Destination Australia Scholarship, I was astounded by how my previous struggles and achievements have paid off. This scholarship was an acknowledgment for my hard work and dedication. I am using this scholarship to pay for my expenses, so I can focus more on my studies.

Being a MORA Scholarship awardee is a blessing to me. I met new friends from many countries and we shared our ideas together. I also met teachers who guided and supported me during my learning process. My earlier studies have been unforgettable experiences, and have prepared me for my PhD.
