This qualification is intended to prepare individuals for further training in the hair and beauty industry.

This is a preparatory qualification which provides a defined and limited range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who provide assistance with client services. These routine and repetitive tasks are completed under direct supervision and with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.

This is a nationally recognised accredited course.

This program is typically delivered over a 26 - 33 week period, however as it is competency based, it may be possible for learners to complete their training sooner if they have reached the required skill level.
