​CQUniversity is making significant strides in combating hunger through its cutting-edge agricultural and horticultural research, primarily conducted by the Institute for Future Farming Systems (IFFS). Over the past decade, the IFFS has developed practical solutions to enhance productivity and sustainability in livestock, cropping, and horticulture sectors across northern Australia and internationally.
