The Australia Pacific LNG STEM Central facility opened in 2018. The facility is a partnership between Australia Pacific LNG and the University. This contemporary STEM facility and associated programs are addressing the national (and International) STEM crisis at the local level.
STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that involves solving real-world problems using the knowledge, understanding and skills from the four disciplines with a strong emphasis on critical and creative thinking.
