CQUniversity has placed in the 126-150 ranking in the 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject for Psychology
CQUniversity has climbed in the 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, placing in the top 150 universities worldwide for psychology.
The University has been awarded a 126-150 ranking for psychology courses, jumping from 301-400 rankings in previous years.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is the only global university performance table to judge research-intensive universities across all of their core missions including teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
The psychology subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the discipline.
CQUniversity Dean of Health Medical and Applied Sciences Professor Bellingan said this rankings success was a testament to the high quality of learning and teaching from the psychology faculty.
“Our newly announced standing demonstrates our continued commitment to research, teaching and, of course, our students,” Prof Bellingan said.
“This ranking reaffirms the popularity and value of the University’s courses in psychological science, and positive psychology, and our accredited postgraduate pathways in professional and clinical psychology.
“It’s a great honour to be among the leading universities. As our reputation continues to grow it is reflected in our rankings, both in Australia and across the globe.”
