In order to share our student experience, engage with industry and community and proudly display our brand values, we have a presence on social media.

Community Engagement Rules

To ensure our online communities are safe environments for all users, we have policies and rules you can find on each of our accounts. However, if you are going to engage with CQUniversity on social media, please note:

  • CQUniversity channels are operated within the business hours of 8:45 am  - 4:45 pm AEST.
  • The University takes a zero tolerance approach to any users posting content that is deemed to be harassment, bullying, defamation, offensive or obscene material and reserves the right to remove this content and ban users.
  • Do not share any personal information on our pages or groups, including contact details and your student number. If you have an enquiry that requires this information, please privately message our official CQUniversity Australia Facebook page, submit an online enquiry, or phone 13 27 86.
  • Remember that what you post online will be online forever, so be mindful of the digital footprint you are leaving and the consequences of this on your study, career, and life.

Creating Your Own Social Media Account

CQUniversity aims to facilitate the engagement of our online communities, through a few, well maintained social media accounts.

If you are a staff member or student at CQUniversity and you want to set up a social media profile for professional use, using our name or logo, this must be approved by the Digital Marketing team before being created. There is a suite of helpful resources on StaffNet for staff, however, please email and the Digital Marketing team will be able to assist you further.
