CQUni signs MoU to collaborate with Bangladesh University of Business and Technology

CQUniversity and the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a PhD program.

CQUniversity and the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a PhD program.

Initially, five faculty members from BUBT will start their PhD program with CQUni from July. Subsequent programs to follow are joint research projects, conferences, seminars and workshops as well as faculty and student exchange programs.

The MoU was signed at the Rockhampton campus on 3 May by CQUni Vice-Chancellor Professor Nick Klomp and Professor Md. Abu Saleh, Vice-Chancellor of BUBT.

Also present were AFM Sarwar Kamal, Convener, International Academic Relations Advisory Committee of BUBT, Prof Santi Narayan Ghosh, Research Director and Head of IQAC, Prof Syed Masud Husain, Dean of Business and Social Sciences, and Prof Mohammad Ameer Ali, Head of Computer Science and Engineering from BUBT.

CQUni staff present included Prof Helen Huntly, Provost, Tertiary Education Division, Prof Lee Di Lilia, Dean, School of Business and Law, Prof Susan Kinner, Dean of Graduate Studies, Research Division, Prof. QuamrulAlam of International Business and Strategy, School of Business and Law.
