CQUniversity Cairns’ first graduating actors from the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree are performing their last show as a cohort.
Crèche and Burn, written by acclaimed Queensland Playwright Elise Greig, is a riotous comedy set in the Little Acorn crèche and childcare centre.
The play features Sarah, who is starting work at the centre for the first time, and the colourful array of characters who utilise the centres services.
Cairns residents can support their local acting talent from 6.30 pm on Tuesday 8 October at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.
The play is directed by Karen Crone and is performed by Bianca Oches, Dell Beckman, Rachael Cecily, Reshma van der Werff and Shanna Niehsner.
“Come watch the twist and turns, from funny to tragic,” says CQUni Cairns Associate Lecturer Patty Preece.
