Alumnus' podcast an International Award finalist

Published:12 January 2018

CQUniversity alumnus' Naomi Arnold's podcast is up for an International Award.

CQUniversity psychology graduate Naomi Arnold is on a mission to use her platform to be of use to others and help create social change.

After being awarded 2014-2016 International Coach of the Year, Naomi launched the Dream For Others® podcast where she interviews inspiring people from different backgrounds on how they use their platform, passions and uniqueness to progress social, political or environmental change.

Her efforts are now being recognised with the Dream For Others® podcast being named as a finalist in the Beautiful You Coaching Academy 2017-18 International Awards under the ‘Best Book / Podcast / Product of the Year’ category.

"I am so excited that the podcast has been named a finalist," Ms Arnold said.

"I get to speak to the most incredible people on the show. People who I’ve personally learned so much from – and who I know our listeners have too. This feels like a beautiful way to recognise and celebrate them and the contributions they are making to our world."

Guests on the podcast have ranged from celebrities such as musician Ben Lee and actress Bethany Joy Lenz, to barrister and officer of the Order of Australia Julian Burnside AO QC, Emmy-Award winning entrepreneur Natalie MacNeil, social justice consultant Desiree Adaway, and more.

"In my work as an entrepreneur, coach and human rights researcher, I noticed that many people want to make a difference in the world – but they don’t know where to start, what to do, who to trust and how to take care of themselves in the process. So I was inspired to start this podcast to not only further educate myself, but hopefully others too, about the many ways that we can show personal leadership and make a difference in our own way.”

The Beautiful You Coaching Academy Awards, being held on Friday 16 March 2018 in Melbourne, will honour coaches in five categories who are at the cutting edge of the coaching industry. The Best Book / Podcast / Product of the Year Award is specifically for an outstanding coach who has created a unique, inspiring and impactful resource.
