Prof Kerry Reid-Searl and Marie Henderson chat about the use of simulation for learning

CQUniversity's MASK-EDTM technology enabling learning through simulation has been causing a buzz in a range of overseas countries, with New Zealand the latest to catch on.

New Zealand's Universal College of Learning (UCOL) recently encouraged nursing lecturer Marie Henderson to meet MASK-EDTM originator Professor Kerry Reid-Searl.

Ms Henderson says there is potential for joint research between CQUniversity and UCOL, which has recently developed a Simulation Laboratory servicing around 700 nursing students.

The visitor indicated that UCOL is keen to introduce the "exciting and innovative teaching pedagogy" of MASK-EDTM to its nursing program.
