Lisa Brummel's Floating Land Festival artwork helped inspire the video project

CQUni Noosa Creative Industries graduate Catherine Gamble and current Masters student Lisa Brummel recently helped Sunshine Coast children and community groups create a short film with an environmental message.

The Do Not Disturb video is now available for viewing on YouTube. The child-led short film has been a community engagement pilot project.

As Artistic Director for the project, Ms Gamble explained that the children had drawn inspiration from Ms Brummel's Floating Land Festival artworks.

"Eco-tainment Inc co-ordinated Girl DirectorTV to give their valuable time to provide Girl Guides Cooroy with filmmaking training," she said.

"The Little Seed Theatre Junior Choir recorded the song. Noosa Integrated Catchment Association provided information about the birds.

"Lisa Brummel was the Artist whose Art Installation 'Do Not Disturb' inspired the piece."
