Questacon at CQUni Gladstone

Hundreds attended two sessions of a Shell Questacon Science Circus Public Exhibition, hosted at the Leo Zussino Building on Gladstone Campus recently.

The Science Circus has recognised CQUniversity’s support in presenting these events as part of its tour of Queensland.

The young and young-at-heart were able to enjoy over 40 interactive exhibits they could use to freeze their shadows, test the speed of their bowling arm and compare their reflexes to an F-111 jet pilot.

The Science Circus has been travelling around Australia since 1985 and is the largest program of its kind worldwide. It draws on the talents of postgraduate students studying a Master of Science Communication Outreach at The Australian National University.
