Public Health

A number of public health study options are available with CQUniversity and allow you to explore your interests and career aspirations in environmental health, health promotion, nutrition, and public health.

The Associate Degree represents the first two years of the Bachelor of Public Health, and allows you to understand evidence-based strategies to address existing, evolving and re-emerging health risks, towards higher standards of health and wellbeing. The Bachelor develops broad skills and knowledge, and offers a specialisation in environmental health, health promotion or nutrition.

Our innovative suite of postgraduate public health options explores the social-ecological perspective of public health. The Graduate Certificate introduces principles of community-based and community-led public health, while the Graduate Diploma extends on the knowledge gained within the Graduate Certificate. The Master of Public Health provides an option for advanced studies in this field.
