Construction

The study of construction at CQUniversity will go towards opening up doors to a satisfying and wide-ranging career.

The Certificate I in Construction provides an ideal introduction into the construction industry, encompassing its culture, occupations, job roles and workplace expectations, and is delivered as part of the Start TAFE Now (STN) program. Our Bachelor of Construction offers an alternative and practical pathway to obtain construction and building industry licences in Queensland, and combines relevant academic theory in built environments, construction, management and design, with the hands-on practical aspects of the Certificate III in Carpentry.

A range of apprenticeships are also available in the areas of bricklaying/blocklaying, carpentry, plumbing, and cabinet-making.
