Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan


As a regional, dual-sector university with a large equity cohort, including women in non-traditional fields, First Nations student, students with disabilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQ+ and those from low socio-economic backgrounds, CQUniversity is committed to creating safe, accessible and empowering learning, research and working environments for all.
CQUniversity’s Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan 2026 – 2028 sets out a roadmap to advance gender equity and social inclusion; remove barriers to participation in education and employment; improve representation and outcomes for under-represented groups; and drive cultural change across all campuses and communities.
