Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan

As a regional, dual-sector university with a large equity cohort, including women in non-traditional fields, First Nations student, students with disabilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQ+ and those from low socio-economic backgrounds, CQUniversity is committed to creating safe, accessible and empowering learning, research and working environments for all. 

CQUniversity’s Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan 2026 – 2028 sets out a roadmap to advance gender equity and social inclusion; remove barriers to participation in education and employment; improve representation and outcomes for under-represented groups; and drive cultural change across all campuses and communities. Feedback on this plan is welcomed and will be considered as part of the University’s ongoing commitment to creative safe, respectful and equitable working and learning environments.
