CQUniversity Brisbane, located in the heart of the central business district, is a great place to study. The campus, refurbished in 2017, comprises nine floors of modern facilities and will offer you a fresh learning environment from which to pursue your academic interests.

The city of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is part of the fastest growing region in Australia. Brisbane city has a population of nearly 900 000 in a metropolitan area of approximately 1.7 million. Founded in New South Wales in 1824, the city has long been the major metropolitan area in North Eastern Australia.
Brisbane is at the northern (warmer) edge of temperate Australia. It has a temperate climate throughout the year. The city is noted for major sports and leisure facilities, and for major cultural facilities, including the Queensland Cultural Centre, in the trendy South Bank area.
The city has a major international airport, with frequent service from around the globe. It is a major departure point for the Gold Coast, the largest beach resort area in Australia and for the more sedate Sunshine Coast, to the north.

CQUniversity students can apply for a concession for travel on the TransLink public transport network or approved regional services via the TransLink website. You're required to meet all of the following TransLink eligibility criteria to travel on concession fares:
- Carry a current CQUni student ID with 'full time' on the card
- Reside in Queensland
- Be studying an approved course
- Enrolled full-time (3 courses or more) on an internal basis for the current Term.
To apply for the transport concession, complete the TransLink online application process.
Please note: From 1 July 2016, if you have not applied online for tertiary concession fares to be activated on your tertiary (green) concession go card, your go card will be updated to charge adult fares.
Even if you already have a valid green tertiary concession go card, you still need to apply online for concession fares to be activated on your go card.
If your tertiary concession go card has expired or if you need a new go card, you will need to buy a new adult go card and apply online for tertiary concession fares to be activated on your go card.
