The CQUniversity Be Scholarship for Research provides financial assistance to a new or continuing candidate with disability to pursue a higher degree by research qualification.
To apply for the CQUniversity Be Scholarship for Research, applicants must:
• be enrolled or have received a letter of offer to enrol in an eligible CQUniversity higher degree by research course, within one month of being offered the Scholarship
• be a domestic candidate (international students are not eligible to apply)
• provide confirmation from their treating health professional that the applicant has a permanent or long-term disability, medical or mental health condition.
Scholarship applications will be assessed based on the merit criteria described in the RTP and RHD Scholarships Policy and Procedure.
Please note that health/personal information will be used only to determine eligibility, not merit ranking.

- Application Form
- Treating Health Professional Report
- This report is to be completed by a registered treating health professional and in accordance with the directions provided on the form.
Scholarship applications are typically submitted in writing, but if you prefer to submit in another format (such as audiovisual), please email research-scholarships@cqu.edu.au.
Applicants will be notified by email when the scholarship has been awarded.

The CQUniversity Be Scholarship provides a living allowance stipend which is paid fortnightly to the recipient through the University's payroll system.
The CQUniversity Be Scholarship for Research is a Commonwealth-funded postgraduate research scholarship.
