The Amgen Scholars Program is a prestigious, fully funded, seven-week summer research program held at The University of Melbourne, offering students the opportunity to undertake hands-on research alongside world class researchers.

The program is designed for undergraduate students considering a future in research and provides invaluable research experience, professional development and networking opportunities. Students will also be given the opportunity to travel to Japan to attend the Amgen Scholars Program - Asia Symposium in August, 2027 where they will connect with fellow Amgen Scholars and leading researchers from across the Asia-Pacific.

The 2027 program will invite 11 high-achieving undergraduate students from eligible countries to work in a research lab for 7 weeks (3 January – 19 February 2027).

Check out our website for more information about the Amgen Scholars Program, eligibility criteria, research areas, register for a Q&A info session and details on how to apply.
