The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program supports around 10,000 Australian undergraduates students per annum to participate in Semester-based or short-term study, Internships, Mentorships, practicums and research in up to 40 Host Locations in the Indo-Pacific. CQUniversity has secured funding to support students completing semester exchange programs at partner universities in Japan, Malaysia and Fiji
To be eligible for a NCP Mobility Grant, applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen
- not be a current citizen or permanent resident of their proposed host location
- be enrolled in a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Honours Degree at CQUniversity
- receive academic credit for your semester exchange
- not be an employee of the branch of DFAT that administers the NCP
- sign the NCP Student Code of Conduct and agree to comply with DFAT's PSEAH: Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Harassment Policy
