Join us in developing a groundbreaking smartphone-based digital assistant to improve sleep and physical activity for Australian’s shiftworkers. This project aims to develop a smartphone-enabled digital assistant to optimise sleep and physical activity for Australians working non-standard hours. By leveraging advanced machine learning and wearable technology, we aim to provide personalised recommendations tailored to the needs of shiftworkers, on-call workers, and gig workers. The research outcomes are expected to support improved workplace health, productivity, and safety.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the project likely to commence in July 2025. The scholarship provides a tenure of three years, with a PhD submission expected within four years of commencement.
