The Commonwealth Teaching Scholarships Program (the Scholarships program) aims to attract more high-quality candidates into teaching by supporting new undergraduate and postgraduate ITE students to meet the costs of their study, in exchange for teaching in government schools or government-run early learning settings for a time equivalent to the length of their ITE program. This is the commitment to teach obligation.

You can register your interest in the Scholarship Program via the ‘Register Your Interest’ link on the Education Scholarships website. Once applications for Round One open, you will be sent an email directing you to the Education Scholarships website where you will find information on the Round One application process, the application form and the scholarship obligations.
