Intakes and Fees for CQUEnglish

We offer English courses with many intakes per year, making it easy for you to plan your study journey.

Multiple locations

Choose where you'd like to study. Our CQUEnglish Language Centres in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney all provide the same high level of care and support to help you achieve your goals.

Package or standalone

You can package your English course with a higher education degree, such as a bachelor or masters degree. This is a great way to meet English requirements and prepare for university study.

You can also study English as a standalone course to build your language skills and confidence. From 2027, our General English course will be available if you are looking to focus exclusively on English language development.

Short-term programs

Not ready for long-term study? Try our 2-week or 4-week Discover Australia program, which combines English classes with cultural activities and excursions for an immersive Australian experience.

Important Information

  • Course dates may change.
  • Orientation is held on the first day of every course.
  • If you hold a Temporary Resident visa, you may be able to study EAP1, EAP2 or EAP3 as a standalone course (not packaged with a degree).
  • If you are under 18 years old, you may not be accepted for study at CQUniversity until you turn 18.
  • If you are under 18 years old and studying in Australia on a student visa, your welfare must be maintained for the duration of your stay as part of visa conditions. To meet these requirements, you must stay in Australia with a nominated guardian approved by the Department of Home Affairs. Your guardian can be a parent, person who has legal custody, or an eligible relative who is aged over 21 and is of good character.
