Synopsis
Integration of Indigenous experiences/places/people into tourism. The Centre for Tourism and Regional Opportunities at CQUniversity is looking for a talented and highly motivated PhD candidate. Morris Family Foundation kindly sponsored a PhD scholarship to conduct research on the topic of the integration of Indigenous experiences/places/people into tourism. The successful applicant will be supervised by Professor Bruce Prideaux and Dr Elena Konovalov. It is envisaged that research activities will be mostly conducted in North Queensland, Australia, with the successful candidate located either at CQUniversity Cairns or Townsville campus.

Other special notes
Besides the usual student stipend of approximately $27,000 per year, the scholarship also has a $10,000 research support grant for research activities. Please note that the scholarship is for a full-time student and candidates need to contact Dr Elena Konovalov to advise of their intention to apply.
