Real-time Railway Air Brake Modelling
School of Engineering and Technology
Dr Qing Wu
Professor Colin Cole, Professor Maksym Spiryagin
Synopsis
This project proposes to use fluid dynamics modelling, longitudinal train dynamics modelling and parallel computing to further develop and leverage the applications of railway train air brake simulations. Applicants are expected to have basic understanding of railway systems, fluid dynamics and programming skills.
