Synopsis
In the last 7 years, there has been an exponential increase in publications on microplastics. Yet, despite this surge in the literature adding to the knowledge base on the species, there is much that we still do not know. This project aims to bridge the knowledge gap via quantification of microplastics and nanoplastics in food.
The project is multidisciplinary and will be jointly supervised between Chemistry and Nutrition experts.
