Synopsis

The aim of this study is to evaluate and report the process of implementing a collaborative multidisciplinary research capacity model in one regional health service district.

  • to identify key factors at the individual, team, and organization levels that affect the research capacity of health professionals working in regional health service districts.
  • Identify how the mentor role contributes to research capacity building of clinician-led multidisciplinary teams
  • To develop an understanding of research capacity and culture at regional health service districts pre and post-delivery of the intervention
