Synopsis
The project aims to investigate the effectiveness of laser radiation as a method for killing weeds for future precision farming applications. The laser type, beam characteristics and irradiation doses that are effective for specific types of weeds will be determined. Design of laser weeding system will consider ease of operation, safety, design and integration with other farming technology and systems.
