This project has 2 purposes:

  1. To investigate how social media (for example, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn) can be used to promote company business and corporate reporting; and
  2. To investigate the correlation between the extent of social-media usage and company characteristics (e.g., size, market capitalization, stock turnover, and management style).
