Synopsis

Understanding the way the brain and body responds to gambling has the potential to address the root cause of problems associated with related disordered behaviours. However, the neuroscientific bases of risky and problematic gambling are not well understood. The current project aims to explore the psychophysiological processes of gambling and how these interact with key contextual and psychosocial variables.
