Synopsis

The project focuses on optimizing the dispatch of tasks to servers, allocation of required resources and scheduling of task execution within cloud computing environments. Cloud datacenters containing a large number of heterogeneous servers host online submitted dynamic tasks that need to be efficiently scheduled to maximize resource utilization, minimize energy consumption, and reduce task completion times. The project will develop effective algorithms incorporating various techniques and strategies to achieve these goals. The project has the potential to significantly impact the cloud computing industry, leading to reduced operational costs and enhanced service quality for end-users.
