Advancing Equitable Access to health services for First Nations People

About the Research Project

This innovative study applies a multidisciplinary, right to health lens to explore how racial discrimination impacts Indigenous Australians' experiences access to equitable, quality and timely health services across urban, rural and remote locations. 

This project is guided by a Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group and shaped through community co-design, ensuring Indigenous voices are at the centre of the research. 

Impact 

Findings will inform a suite of practical resources and recommendations aimed at achieving advanced inter-generational health justice and improving equity in Australia’s healthcare system.
