The project explores how relative clauses and clause types are used across Indigenous languages of the Mainland China. The focus is on how these language feature’s function and their role in interaction and communication.
By comparing multiple languages, the study aims to deepen our understanding of how grammar supports meaning and social interaction in diverse linguistic and cultural contexts.
