Primary Arts Online

An examination of primary student, teacher and parent experiences of arts learning online during COVID-19 lockdown.

Description

Funded through the Department of Education Emerging Priorities Program this national study explored primary students’ teachers’ and parents’ experiences of online learning in the arts during the COVID-19lockdown period in Australia. The findings informed the development of online learning resources for teachers published in an online micro-credential.

Impact Statement

The Emerging Priorities Program study of primary arts online found that online arts learning connected students to each other and their teachers and contributed to positive return to school experiences for primary school children.
