Synopsis
Because of the popularity of the Internet and web technologies, many public listed firms have started to use their corporate websites for disseminating corporate and financial information to their existing shareholders and potential investors. This project aims to investigate the major factors (e.g. company size, stock turnover and management attitude) that affect the degree of adopting webcasting technologies (e.g. uploading video clips about the company's future business strategies into the corporate website) used by public firms.
This project requires the use of statistical techniques for hypothesis testing.
