CQU ranked for its world-class Education courses
CQUniversity has for the first time jumped into the top rankings for Education in the QS World University Subject Rankings for 2023.
The University ranked 351–380 in the Education category, a subject area encompassing the institution’s teacher training programs.
Dean of the School of Education and the Arts, Professor Stephen Dobson said it was exciting to be ranked amongst the world’s best providers of Education courses and attributed much of its success to its ongoing collaboration with schools where students undertake placements.
“This is great recognition of our teacher education,” Prof Dobson said.
“CQUniversity’s Education courses are underpinned by research informed practice and meets the needs of the regions in an inclusive, student responsive manner.”
CQUniversity also ranked 351–400 in the Agriculture and Forestry category, a position it maintains from 2022.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s top universities in individual subject areas, covering 54 disciplines as of 2023.
