Open Days draw more than 1,000 visitors to CQU campuses

More than 1,000 prospective students and their families connected with CQUniversity throughout August, exploring study opportunities, touring campuses and learning about the University's extensive student support services.

Open Day events were held across CQUniversity campuses in Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns, giving attendees the opportunity to experience campus life firsthand and connect directly with academic and professional staff.

Visitors travelled from across Queensland, with some interstate and metropolitan attendees also making the journey to explore CQUniversity's regional study destinations and learn more about their future education options.

CQUniversity Future Students Coordinator Skye Calvert said the annual events continued to provide valuable opportunities for prospective students to discover the University's wide range of study pathways and support services.

"Open Day gives future students and their families the chance to experience our campuses firsthand, meet the people who will support them throughout their study journey and gain a better understanding of the many opportunities available at CQU," she said.

"It was fantastic to welcome more than 1,000 attendees across our regional Queensland campuses and help them explore the study options that best align with their goals and interests."

In addition to the on-campus events, CQUniversity delivered a series of webinars covering a broad range of study areas, allowing prospective students to hear directly from academics and gain insights into different courses and career pathways.

The online sessions complemented the University's face-to-face events, ensuring future students could access information and advice regardless of their location.
