CQUniversity Nursing ranked in top 100 globally

CQUniversity has earned international recognition in the Shanghai Ranking 2025 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, placing in the 76–100 band worldwide for Nursing.
The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) evaluates world universities across 57 subjects based on nine objective indicators grouped into five categories: World-Class Faculty, World-Class Research Output, High-Quality Research, Research Impact and International Collaboration.
Each year, GRAS presents around 20 000 subject units from approximately 2 000 universities across some 100 countries and regions.
CQUniversity Vice-President (Academic) Professor Michelle Bellingan said the ranking was a significant achievement for the University and a testament to the dedication of our Nursing academics, researchers, students and industry partners.
“To be ranked among the top nursing schools across the globe is an exceptional result,” Prof Bellingan said.
“This recognition reflects the quality of our research, the strength of our industry partnerships and our commitment to improving health outcomes for regional, national and international communities.”
CQUniversity was also recognised in several other subject areas in the Shanghai Ranking system:
