Speech pathology students celebrate end of studies
By Greg Chapman
CQUniversity’s fourth-year Speech Pathology students have raised their voices in celebration at a special event to signify the completion of their studies.
The group gathered alongside their CQU lecturers and local speech pathologists at the Frenchville Sports Club in Rockhampton, to recognise their efforts.
CQU Speech Pathology Lecturer and Practice Education Coordinator Jodie Anderson congratulated the cohort.
“The students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we are excited to support you as you take the next step into the profession,” she said.
“It was a fantastic night celebrating 2025, connecting with local speech pathologists, and recognising the hard work and achievements of our students.
“Fourth-year student Chloe Snow was recognised, receiving the Speech Pathology Australia Student Award for academic and clinical excellence – an outstanding achievement and so well deserved.
“A huge congratulations to our graduating fourth-year cohort!”
The event was supported by the Frenchville Sports Club, Federal Member for Capricornia the Hon Michelle Landry, House of Kicks, Twinkl, Dr Woof, LessonPix, and Annees.
