Mr Heilbuth urged anyone considering vocational education to access Fee-Free TAFE.

“CQU TAFE Careers Expos will be held in Rockhampton, Mackay and Gladstone on 17 January 2024 and we encourage anyone interested to attend to find out more from our friendly staff. It’s possible that many people with existing qualifications already may be eligible for Fee-Free TAFE,” he said.

“Eligibility for this funding is not restricted due to the number of qualifications already held. This is a big opportunity for people, particularly those in leadership and management or project management, not to mention people looking to change careers.”
