Orientation

Orientation at CQUniversity consists of compulsory and optional events and activities, allowing you to create a customised schedule.Orientation TV (OTV) is a live webinar with an engaging, television-show-style format where you will receive the essential information you need to commence your studies. As a new international student, it is important that you attend all OTV sessions. International students must also attend an OTV session called International Student Essentials.  Attendance is compulsory.

In addition, you will be able to attend optional All About Uni Workshops, allowing you to create a customised Orientation schedule based on what you need and want to know more about. These should be attended in addition to compulsory Orientation TV sessions.

CAMPUS EXPERIENCE

Students who are studying onshore are also invited to attend Campus Experience events. Campus Experience is your chance to get to know your local CQU Campus, meet fellow students and CQU staff as well as be introduced to CQU support services. Events will differ for each location and may include networking activities, campus tours, and market stalls. It is strongly recommended that students attend these on-campus events. Visit MyCQU for more information and to book your Orientation sessions. For help logging in, visit the student login details page.
