With a little help financially, your university experience will be a little easier and more affordable.
Every year we provide approximately A$20 million worth of scholarships to support international students. This is because we want as many deserving individuals as possible to benefit from a CQUniversity education.

The CQUni scholarship advantage
Many Australian universities provide scholarships to support international students, so there is always something out there for everyone.

Our most popular scholarships for international students is the International Student Scholarship (ISS), which provides a significant saving of 25% on your total course tuition fees.

Most popular international scholarships
International Student Scholarship (ISS)
The ISS is available to all new international students in vocational, research, full degree and English packaged with academic courses. There is no minimum GPA to receive this scholarship. If you have completed your most recent studies and are commencing your course at CQUni as a new student, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship and receive a 25% reduction in your course fee. Destination Australia Scholarships
The Destination Australia Scholarships are government-funded and available to new international students studying and living in regional Australia. The scholarship value is A$15 000 per student per year.
When I got the call that I will be receiving the Destination Australia Scholarship, I was astounded by how my previous struggles and achievements have paid off. This scholarship means a lot to me. I have been through tough times to be where I am today. Getting accepted for this scholarship was an acknowledgment for all my hard work and dedication. I am using the amount I’m receiving from this scholarship to pay for my expenses, so I can focus more on my studies and achieve better results.

Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship
If you are undertaking a research higher degree at CQUniversity, you could be eligible for the Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship, which aims to provide funding to assist with your living costs. Terms and conditions apply.
Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS)
The AAS provides opportunities for students from participating countries to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian institutions.
The opportunity to be an Australia Awards Scholar has been an exciting yet challenging experience both academically and socially. Upon completion of my studies, I plan to return to my paradise, Papua New Guinea and contribute to improving higher education with ICT as a facilitating tool. I foresee opportunities once considered as impossible to be achievable as a student on my way to be a modern educator and leader.

MORA – CQUniversity Australia Scholarship
If you are an international student from Indonesia applying for a research higher degree at CQUniversity, you may be eligible for the MORA – CQUniversity Australia Scholarship.
This scholarship is only available to Indonesian citizens and covers 100% of your tuition fees for a maximum of four years, as well as other financial support including living allowance, health insurance, travel fee and research fund.
Being a MORA Scholarship awardee is a blessing to me. I met new friends from many countries and we shared our ideas together. I also met teachers who guided and supported me during my learning process. They are all are dedicated people.
My earlier studies have been unforgettable experiences, and have enlightened and prepared me for my PhD. I am thankful I have supervisors who have passion regarding my topic of interest.

External Organisation Scholarships
A number of externally funded scholarships are also available to current international students who are enrolled at CQUniversity regional campuses in specific study areas and/or continuing into the second or third year of their degrees.
