CQUniversity is proud to offer a high-quality education at an affordable and competitive rate.

According to the 2020 Studymove findings, our postgraduate fees are in the top five most affordable fees in the country. Our affordable tuition fees do not compromise the quality of education we provide or our graduate outcomes. In fact, CQUni graduates earn more than the national average starting salaries (ComparED 2020). We're also ranked in the top 10 universities for full-time employment and starting salary (Good Universities Guide 2021). Find out more on our reputation page.

As an international student, you will enrol in your course as a full fee paying student. Tuition fees vary depending on the course and units you study. For the full list of international course fees and disclaimer, please click on the below.

Financial Support

Our tuition fees are already comparatively affordable, but on top of that, we offer various means of financial support to help with your tuition fees such as scholarships, early bird discounts and payment plans.

Our students also enjoy the benefit of not paying an application fee. The average application fee for most Australian universities is between A$50 to A$100.

Financial support through a scholarship

Our CQUniversity-funded international student scholarships are valued at 25% of the course tuition fee.

Below is an example of how a scholarship of 25% could help reduce your total course tuition fee, giving you cumulative savings of A$16 000 over the two-year course duration plus additional savings of A$1000 if eligible for our Early Bird Discount*.

Other scholarship support

Apart from the CQUniversity-funded international scholarships valued at 25% of your tuition fee, you may also be eligible for additional Government-funded scholarships such as the Destination Australia Scholarship valued up to A$15 000 per year, if you study at one of CQUniversity’s regional campuses. Terms and conditions apply.

Early Bird Discount*

An incentive we have in place to help students with course tuition fees is our Early Bird Discount (EBD) of A$1000. You will be eligible if you have applied and accepted your offer to study at CQUniversity by the specified cut-off date for each term. The A$1000 discount will be applied as credit to your second term of study.

EBD cut-off dates

  • Term 1 2021 offer holders - 5 February 2021
  • Term 2 2021 offer holders - 11 June 2021
  • Term 3 2021 offer holders - 8 October 2021

Payment plans

We offer payment plans for those who may require more time to pay their tuition fees. The payment plan allows for 50% of the term tuition fee to be paid by Census Date and the remaining 50% to be paid via instalments. Please contact our Student Engagement team directly to discuss options.

Other costs

In addition to international tuition fees, you must have sufficient funds to cover additional expenses such as textbooks, accommodation costs, Overseas Student Health Cover and general costs of living.

For more information regarding studying in Australia, visit the Study in Australia website, the official government site for international students.

I chose CQUniversity because of the affordable fee structure, scholarships, program structure, good infrastructure and facilities such as laboratories and student support. You can meet different cultural students and the lecturers are very helpful.
