CQUniversity’s affordable and competitive international course fees do not compromise the quality of education we provide or our graduate outcomes. In fact, CQUni graduates earn more than the national average starting salaries (ComparED 2020). We're also ranked in the top 10 universities for full-time employment and starting salary (Good Universities Guide 2021). Find out more on our reputation page.
As an international student, you will enrol in your course as a full fee paying student. Tuition fees vary depending on the course and units you study. For the full list of international course fees, please click on the below.

Our tuition fees are already comparatively affordable, but on top of that, we offer various means of financial support to help with your tuition fees such as free English language courses for packaged students, scholarships, early bird discount and payment plan.
All students enrolling in a CQUEnglish packaged pathway with an academic course can study English for FREE. This offer is available for all three terms in 2021 and online or face-to-face at a CQUEnglish Language Centre in Brisbane, Melbourne, Rockhampton or Sydney - when the Australian borders open.
No matter how many weeks of English you need to study, you will save A$415 per week. So if you need to study English for 30 weeks, you will save an incredible A$12 450!
You may also be eligible for a 25% scholarship for your academic course, which provides even more savings. With a bit of pressure off financially, you can fully focus on your studies and making the most of your student experience.
CQUniversity-funded international student scholarships are valued at 25% of the course tuition fee. Apart from these scholarships, you may also be eligible for additional Government-funded scholarships such as the Destination Australia Scholarship valued up to A$15 000 per year, if you study at one of CQUniversity’s regional campuses. Terms and conditions apply.
A 25% reduction in course fees can definitely help take some of the pressure off of your study. Below is an example of the cumulative savings of A$16 000 for a two-year postgraduate course.
Imagine what you can do with this saving. Go on a holiday? Buy a car? Whatever it may be, if you're looking for affordable fees from a university with one of the best overall student experience and graduate employment outcomes in the country, then a CQUni qualification may just be right for you.

You will be eligible if you have applied and accepted your offer to study at CQUniversity by the specified cut-off date for each term. The A$1000 discount will be applied as credit to your second term of study.
EBD cut-off dates
- Term 1 2021 offer holders - 5 February 2021
- Term 2 2021 offer holders - 11 June 2021
- Term 3 2021 offer holders - 8 October 2021
We offer a payment plan for those who may require more time to pay their tuition fees. The payment plan allows for 50% of the term tuition fee to be paid by Census Date and the remaining 50% to be paid via instalments. Please contact our Student Engagement team directly to discuss options.
In addition to international course tuition fees, you must have sufficient funds to cover additional expenses such as textbooks, accommodation costs, Overseas Student Health Cover and general costs of living.
