Kickstart the year and join us at this year’s Mackay Campus Forum to discover what’s new in 2021 and how we are supporting you and your school.
This year, we are also pleased to reward your attendance at this event with a CQUniversity micro-credential. Attendees will be awarded with a digital badge to display to your social and work networks. More information micro-credentials will be covered in the event.
Highlights of this year's event include:
- Wrap up on 2020 CQUni’s Principal’s Recommendation Scheme
- A snapshot of key changes to our pathway programs (SUN, Start TAFE Now and STEPS), share upcoming event dates with you and provide a tour of our Mackay Ooralea campus. You’ll also receive copies of updated publications if you need them, including the 2021 ‘High School to Uni and TAFE’ guide.
- Hear from Guest speaker Dr Andrew Fenning, Senior Lecturer for CQUniversity Metabolic and Physiological Health. Dr Andrew will be discussing how, for the first time, medical doctors will be educated and trained in Rockhampton and Bundaberg, without the need for students to leave their home regions and critical support networks. This is made possible through formalisation of our Regional Medical Pathway partnership with the University of Queensland, Central Queensland Health and Hospital Service, and Wide Bay Health and Hospital Service.
